Spectrum Assists Army in support of our warfighters...
Spectrum continues to work closely with the U.S. Army in support of our warfighters.
Spectrum recently provided a new crash-resistant breakaway fuel valve assembly for the exit ramp of the CH-47 "Chinook" Helo.
With hard landings or rapid ramp deployment, the existing fuel line could rupture, causing leakage, unsafe conditions, and jeopardizing mission readiness.
Within a very short period, Spectrum designed and manufactured a new valve assembly to separate and seal the fuel lines, should this occur.
All Chinooks are currently being retro-fitted with this dramatic improvement for the airframe.
