Spectrum Adds 32,000 Sq. Ft. of Space, Relocates its Headquarters
Spectrum purchased the former IKON Business HQ, in Milford, CT in January of this year, comprising of 32,000 sq. ft. of office, warehouse, and assembly space.
"We moved in May, and this expansion is quite significant," says Marc Driscoll, Sales & Marketing Manager of Spectrum, "as it will allow us to meet the increasing demands of the aeropspace environment in terms of components, subassemblies, and kitting services that we currently provide or are building upon."
Spectrum believes this expansion will position the company for continued growth, as evidenced by the local need.
In addition to this location, Spectrum Associates will maintian its prior headquarters at 440 New Haven Avenue. This location will continue to house hydraulic subassembly work. This important move allows Spectrum to maintain addtional space at their new headquarters for new programs.
"The industry is clearly heading in the direction of total integration of sub systems," says Driscoll. "This includes but is not limited to hydraulic subassemblies, fuel system components, kitting, manifold subassemblies, as well as existing componenets such as presure switches, indicators, and breakaway valves."
Spectrum is now as fully operational as they ever have been, and with two fully enclosed delivery truck bays, now they are ready to soar.
